Still, all in all, a great package for the Oaks fans. In this collection is the very best of the Oak Ridge Boys. and Stay 2nd :-) enjoy. I agree with the other writer about the Mandrell track being included on here, but its "According" to Billboard (I'm guessing). I was very happy with set with the exception of what I thought should have been included in the collection, "Gonna Take A Lot Of River" which is available on Greatest Hits Volume 3, it would then complete THE essential Oak Ridge Boys Greatest Hits.
I hope you enjoy as muchas we did. I love the Oak Ridge Boys. This CD compilation has almost every greathit of their career with very few exceptions.
Good item for the money. Shipping was fast and CD is packed with songs.
Contains most of their All Time Classics. If you are an Oak Ridge Boys fan, you will love this album.
I do wish it had a little more of their gospel-era tunes, as they are wonderful as well, but after all, this is not a box set. If you were to only buy one Oak Ridge Boys record, this is probably the best retrospective out there - all of their most significant tunes are here. Let me qualify my review by stating that I believe that the Oak Ridge Boys are one of the finest vocal groups in the history of country music. This collection primarily focuses on the period of time in which they were generating hit after hit.
